How many sites do you have?
Answer: We offer 111 sites with 64 full hookup service sites with power, water, and sewer hookups, 32 semi hookup service sites with power and water hookups, and 10 primitive sites without water, power, nor sewer hookup.
Do you have riverfront sites?
Answer: Yes, we do have 10 riverfront sites. These are primitive sites without power, water, nor sewer hookup. Riverfront sites are for tenting only. No RV, Truck camper, nor van camper on these riverfront sites.
How many people can I have on one site?
Answer: Our campground policy is 3 adults and 4 children under age 18 per site. Each site comes with 2 adults and 2 children. For 1 additional adult, $25 per adult per night. For 1 additional child, $8 per child per night.
Do you offer seasonal sites?
Answer: Yes, we offer seasonal sites. For seasonal site inquiry, please contact the campground at (207)835-1998

What is your camping season?
Answer: May 1st to October 1st
Can I check availability?
Answer: Please contact the campground at (207)835-1998 to reservation inquiry before you make the reservation request.
What are the check-in and check-out time?
Answer: Check-in time is at 3pm and Check-Out time is at 11am.
Are you a party campground?
Answer: No! We are a quiet campground. Quiet time daily from 10pm to 8am, even during event weekends. You can enjoy your campfire after 10pm. But no loud music nor loud noises.
Are there a fire ring and a picnic table on my site?
Answer: Yes, each site has a fire ring and a picnic table.
How many tents can I have on 1 site?
Answer: 1 sleeping tent and 1 canopy are allowed to be on a site. Having too many tents will not just crowd your site, but also invade other sites next to you.
How many cars can I fit on my site?
Answer: 1-2 depends on the size of your car(s) and the site you are on. We have an overflow parking lot.
Do I need to pay for additional cars?
Answer: No, we don't charge a car parking fee in this camping location.
How many dogs can I have?
Answer: We love pets and don't charge pet fees unlike most campgrounds. But please keep your dogs on leash(es) in the campground except in the dog park.
Do I need to show you my dog's rabies vaccine certification?
Answer: You don't need to show it to us. But please keep it with you in case you are asked for it.
How late can we check in?
Answer: 9pm daily. You don't want to set up a tent in the dark or shine your car lights on someone else's tents. Please be mindful.
Do we need to pay for a shower?
Answer: No, our hot showers are FREE. But please be mindful during the event weekends. There are other people waiting to use these showers.
Can we bring our own firewood?
Answer: Bringing firewood across state lines is illegal and can be fined for $1,500 per citation by the State of Maine law enforcement, including forest rangers.
Are you near a river?
Answer: Yes, we are right on the Saco River with approximately 3,000 linear feet of river front.
Is there a beach in your campground?
Answer: No, there is no beach on this part of Saco River.
Can we swim in the Saco River?
Answer: Yes, you can swim in the Saco River. We also have a dock into the Saco River.
How far are you from Swan Falls?
Answer: We are about a 30 minute car ride to Swan Falls. Swan Falls is in Fryburg and we are in Cornish, ME. We are 23.2 miles apart. Swan Falls is a party central. We are on the quiet part of Saco River.
How deep is this part of the Saco River?
Answer: Varies. Some parts of the Saco River are only waist deep. Some parts of the Saco River are above the neck. This part of Saco River is between waist and neck deep.
Can we still go tubing when there is only little rain recently?
Answer: Yes, this part of the Saco River is deeper. In addition, Ossipee river merges into Saco River just 2 miles ahead of the campground. Therefore, there is always plenty of water on this part of the Saco River.
Where can we launch our tubes and kayaks?
Answer: We have a second location upstream on the Saco River. We send campers up there to launch their tubes and kayaks, and float down to this location where you camp.
How far is your tube and kayak launch location?
Answer: Please see the map below. It is about a 7-10 minutes car drive for 3.5-4 hours of tubing journey.
Do you transport us to your tube launch location?
Answer: No, we tried it before. But we always had to wait for someone who was never on-time. Therefore, now we just tell people to go by themselves with their own schedules and leave a car here at the campground. Once they flow down, they can use that car to go back up to bring the other car back. If you don't have a second car, we will drive you back to pick up your car at 5pm.
What is your tube launch location?
Answer: Please get this address at the camp store.
How do we get into your tube launch location?
Answer: It is a gated property. We will give you a lock code after you pay for the parking fee.
Can we bring our own tubes?
Answer: As of 2024, we haven't enforced restrictions to rent our tubes. Tube and Kayak rental is our second business than the campground business. And we don't charge all kinds of fees such as dog fees, showers, additional car parking fees, etc. For now, you can bring your own tubes. In this case, just pay us the parking fee of $25 per car to use our tube launch property. (We have to pay property tax and maintenance on that property.)
How much is your tube and kayak rental?
Answer: $25 per tube and $45 per kayak from 9am to 7pm.
Do you have a float cooler for rent?
Answer: No, but you can rent an additional tube for your cooler.
What if we float past your campground?
Answer: Please make sure you look for the campground flag pole and our dock by the river. You don't want to miss our campground. The next location to come out of Saco River is 8-10 hours away, called Steep Falls.
Can I go fishing in the campground?
Answer: Yes, you can go fishing by our dock or river bank.
Do you sell fishing licenses?
Answer: No. But you can get the Maine fishing license online 24/7.
Do you sell fishing baits?
Answer: No, we don't sell fishing baits.
Do you take credit cards?
Answer: Yes, we take almost all types of credit cards.
Is there a laundry facility in the campground?
Answer: Yes, we have a laundry facility in the campground. It is NOT free. Even though we have an honest system for our laundry facility, we have to get a camera to monitor the usage because of previous usage abuse.
Do you offer day passes?
Answer: Yes. An event day pass is $25 per day.
What is the hour of a day pass?
Answer: From 9am to 6pm
Do you fill propane in the campground? How much does it cost?
Answer: Yes, we do fill propane in our on-site propane station. The cost is the same as the Tractor Supply.
